Peter Barnes (born 25 February 1955 in Enfield, London, United Kingdom) is a lighting designer, lighting director, show producer and set designer. He is credited with more than 150 designs for live music, film, television, dance, fashion, art and architecture. He is known in the live music industry as 'the UK's guru of pop lighting'.〔(''Bandit on the X-Factor Tour'' ). The Production Office, August 1999 – December 1999〕 tour and the Christmas in Spiceworld tour. He designed the lighting for Live 8〔(''Live 8 design'' ).
